What kind of sites would you suggest for a winchester 88 in 308 if you did not want to drill and tap and put a scope on it?



My vision is not the best and I was looking for any advantage I might get without putting a scope on it.



and what scope/magnification would you go with if it was D&T with a 1 piiece base?

I don't think they made the 88 without it being drilled and tapped for scope.

My 88 is drilled and tapped from the factory. I put a 2X7 compact scope on it and that seems to work well.
