and fore end for a Marlin 336 RC--Mine was made in 1951 and Marlin will not take 'em in this old!! I've been looking at the on-line sites like gun part corp, and I am not sure if the stock I get must be a "RC" or will a "C" fit just as well? The only "RC" I have found was a camo stock-synthetic I guess, and I'd rather not go with a synthetic stock 'cause 1. it might make my 35 rem intolerable to shoot, and 2. I think they are just UGLY. BUt if it doesn't make the ole 35 kick like a mule and it is all I find, I will make do. any help, advice is appreciated Dave | ||

Dave search marlin 336 on Ebay they had a nice wood 336 stock set on there last time I checked. I think the only differences in the 336 fore-ends are, if it has the steel end cap or the band, checkered or plain. Good Luck Brian | |||
