Well, I did the sale/trade...

I now have in front of me a Winchester Deluxe 1876 .50-95 Express short rifle. I went back and took a closer look at the untouched Indian rifle and was delighted to see that it was in much better condition than I my first impression. That must have been due to the fact of looking at it next to a completely restored new looking one... Anyway, this is what I ended up with:

Very nice sharp and shiny bore!
Nothing missing and in perfect working order!
No serious pitting or dings
Outside has a bit of handling wear, but the inside is immaculate!

I am very happy with this rifle and don�t think I�ll be getting rid of it too soon!

By the way, what is the proper tang sight for this rifle? Is it the one for the 1892/94 or the 1886?
