.375 compared to .358?

For the past year my rifle of choice has been a Marlin in .375Winchester. Then, just recently, a fellow gifted me with a new BLR in .358. I am not new to BLRs but I am new to this caliber and I am wondering -- beyond the ballistic coefficient advantages of spitzer bullets, or at least, including such -- what I should expect from the new .358 compared to my M375?
If anyone has any favorite .358 loads please pass them on, as well as any tips for stripping and refinishing that high-gloss BLR stock. Thanks.

JLM:
I would really like to hear your comments on the .375 Win. I'm considering building one on a Martini action, and "real world" experience seems hard to find.

Pedestal, I love my Marlin .375. And it loves 200 and 220 grain bullets with 1680 or 2015 powders. Dropped a big mule deer with it this year and the day before came upon a coyote at 100 yards, aimed at the top of his back, and drilled him through the spine. Much less kick than my Guide Gun and accurate at 200 yards. Over at Marlin Talk both me and Coyote Hunter are avid .375 shooters and he has a lot of reloading data on his rifle. Nice caliber.
