I have a Marlin 1894 Cowboy Comp in 45LC. I have been unable to located a large loop lever replacement for this model. I see them for the 1995 and the 336.

How close is the 1895 to fitting my gun?

Thanks,

George

go to reedercustomguns.com

Gary makes the larger loops for the 1894 and the 1895 so you can use a gloved hand with them. This may be what you are looking for depending on how large a loop you want.

After seeing the prices on these large loop I made one myself, took a round peace of hard steel 3/8" round took a big hammer flattened it to match thecontour of the standard lever then formed it cut out the the standard lever area and welded it in place filed and polished it. What an improvement over the standard. I can't believe the factory doesn't make them as an option ]
