My dad has one and we are wondering what it is worth. It is all original except for the sling stud he put in the butt stock. The gun is good condition.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Have to see photos and get a serial number, but I've seen a lot here lately post-war pre-64s in the $400-$700 range, and the top dollar went to the very, very best.

the 64 year didn't seem to affect the '94 winchesters as much as it did the m70's... the late 1970's saw alloy receivers and poorer quality manufacturing....ive been seeing '94's go for $250 (in a pawn shop in orange tx) to over/around $600... retail in some sporting goods stores...

go big or go home ........

Hopefully I can give enough information (and pics) to give you the information you need to help me out. I have tried to take a representative amount of pictures so that you can see the gun in as much detail as possible without holding it. As far as I know the gun is original with the exception of the sling studs that have been added.

The only notable things that are out of the norm in my opinion are the dings on the left hand side of the butt stock and there are three hairline scratches on the left side of the reciever. If I can figure out how to doctor photos I will circle those items.

As far as the serial number, it is 20206xx

Saw this post somewhere else I think.

Your gun is worth about $400 to $500. the light dings in the stock, and mostly the installation of the rear swivel devalued it..

I have an absolutly new one, that is worth about $700, but I have seen them priced in gun digest for up to $895 in the condition mine is in, but I doubt they get that for one.

However, you do have a gun that will increse yearly in value, a good investment.
