What model/characteristics is your 444? Curved lever and pistol grip? If so, the below might work with some adaptation. Ramline makes a synthetic stack for the 336 that might be adaptable to the 444. MPI makes a synthetic stock for the 1895 that may be adaptable to the 444. Wild West Guns sells molded stocks for Marlin lever action rifles.
