OK...my eyes are getting crappier and crappier. Does anybody have any recommendations for bases, rings and scopes for this Winchester rifle?

Not sure what the mounting hardware is. But my buddy has a 0X Nikon on his for PA deer & black bear in the thick. I was skeptical at first. But it's the tits for <100 yard big game.

I like the Leupold bases for the 94AE better than any of the others available. They are a sleek 2 piece base and don't "clutter" up the receiver like some of the one piece bases. As far as a scope goes, the little Leupold 2 1/2x compact would be tailor made for the 94 Timber. If you need a little more magnification, one of the straight tube 1-4x's or 1.5-5x's would be appropriate. I definetly wouldn't saddle it with anything with a large objective bell.
