Large bows for Marlins

I have large hands and the 1895 Marlin Cowboy model I have tends to beat my hands up when the big 45-70 round goes off. Right now I'm leaving my little finger out of the bow to keep it from being whacked. Are the large lever loops that you can get any longer so that a large hand can comfortably rest inside it?

If you want a large lever to match the cowboy style, I really don't know what there is out there, but if you want just a larger opening, try Wild West Guns in Alaska, I belive Brownell's sells them as well.

Try these links

Also try Gary Reeder guns

Also, IMHO, the best lever is Dave Clay's style, smaller than most of the others, and looks more proportionate.
He doesn't have a website now - he did at one time. I may have an email address somewhere, if you wish I look for it.
