The wonderful hornady company quit making 405 win brass for reloading . They only make the ammo every few years .Here is starlines number 800-280-6660 they make excellent brass . They make excellent brass .I got 100 people last time to call them to make 444 marlin 375 win and 357 rem maxium brass and 260 rem .The hornady brass was very soft and too thick and hard to reload .I had tons of cases buckle trying to load it .I know there are a few 405 win shooters on here and others could help too . It might take 6 months but they will make it . Winchester is making new 405 win 1895s and I want to see these fine rifles keep shooting thanks for helping !

I will be glad to call. I am surprised that they never made it before, there has to be more demand for it than their latest release of 7.65 long pistol! DRSS(We Band of Bubba's Div.) N.R.A (Life) T.S.R.A (Life) D.S.C.

They are easy to work with if you need brass that they handle, they will take your name and notify you when they make a run..Ive done that iwth them many times and Im on the list for 38-40s (200) as we talk...I recently got 300 .308s after a 45 day wait..they just showed up in the mail..Ive been using them for about a year or so and I think its the best brass I have ever used.. Someone needs to call StarLine and make a firm (paid) order for 100K of 405 brass. Money talks and in this climate, that is the only way you are going to get them to make anything. I have used the phone call blitz technique; it used to work in the "old days". Meaning 2 years ago. Paid orders. Not phone calls.

When brass was on the decline I bought 18 boxes. It was expensive but I kept some for my .405, included some with the two .405s I sold, and shortly will be listing five boxes I have remaining for sale. The brass is Bertram. I am going through cabinets and coming up with dozens of boxes of brass I no longer need. Mostly for the nitro express double rifle calibers but some American calibers, too. Should have them listed in a week. If I am delayed It will be after I return from Africa in mid July.
