I have a question for all of you Winchester experts please. I ran across a model 64 on Gun Broker that at first look appeared to be near mint. However upon closer inspection of the pictures it this gun has a model 94 AE receiver. The barrel markings don't look like any other model 64 I've seen.

When I asked the seller about it he claims the gun is all original.

So I guess my question is "did Winchester ever do a second remake of the model 64 using the Angle Eject receiver? I know the original model 64 was made from 1933 - 1957, with a remake marked 64A in 1972-1973. I can't find anything about this model being made after that.

Any info greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Longfeather

They offered them through Cabelas up to last year.
