Interesting to me only if both barrels can be used. Can you comment on whether the .405 still can be used?
I definitely would not give up my 1895 TD .405 for a a 30/40 Krag.

They both work but I haven't grouped the 30/40 yet.

My thought exactly. For the money spent to get the work done, my bet is you could have bought one of the 30-40 1895 carbines from davidson's. I think I'd rather have 2 guns than a two barrel take down set, but then that's me. Everyone has an idea of what appeals to them.
