Thanks for the infomation. I have read mostly that 220 will be the top end so that will probably be the way I go with either Federal or Remington ammo initially.
I love the feel of the Marlin and alos shoot it in a 375Win and 444 Marlin. I did find the hard cast shoots well in my 444 which is also MG barrel.
I may still rebarrel as I am pretty set on heavy loads. They may all change after hunting a bit. Season is on for pigs and bear opens soon as well. I just need to get physically strong again and I'll be at it.
Hobie. Have you settled on a powder you especially like? I enjoy reloading but it is always better to start where someone has already had success.
