my win/miroku 1886el made about 2002 has one.
that is as much as I know.

I have 1886 original ! no safety on tang ! I also have the same as you with tang safety ! surprised me when I saw it there, love the rifle 45/90 405 gr lead cast 62 grains of triple 7 2F

Better load 70 grains Hod/trip 7- 3F/ 300 gr JHP 215 fed primers , hit the same holes ! 50 yards 100 yds and 175 yds 45/90 Winchester 1886 Repo from Japan ! What a rifle !!!! concho
