There use to be a couple of guys on the old Marlin Talk forum that had 7mm STE's. Said they really liked them. Hodgdon lists data for the 7mm STE. I am not sure if it is a reprint of what Layne Simpson developed or their own. Anyway good luck. I always wanted to rebarrel a Marlin 444 to one of these. Maybe someday when the kids are all grown up and gone.

Haven't had a chance to try out my new 357 Max barrel yet. Still waiting on my order for dies, powder and primers.
