Chuck My trails end is a pretty accurate rifle, @ 50 yds it was clover-leafing the 240gr Federal hydra-shok and @ 100 i was getting around 2" groups without experimenting with different loads.I shot a 200lb black russian with it @ 40 yds useing the 250gr Winchester/Nosler partition gold and the pig dropped at the shot. I also killed a doe whitetail with the Remington 275gr core-lokt, and both rounds performed very well. I now shoot a Ruger 99/44 with Speer's 270gr gold dot soft point, but that hasnt seen daylight in quite a while.Thats probably due to the Browning 81 light-weight in .358 win that i bought a year ago, man its one nice lever gun. | ||
