Your question is not clear as evidenced by prior posts. A Model 94 is pretty flat just laying on its side on the ground. A 30-30 that allows you to shoot 150 gr spitzers with OAL's a bit longer than spec'ed by SAAMI and packed with RX15 will get you near 2500 FPS and can reasonably be called a 250-300 yard gun. Lighter bullets will go faster obviously but few are adequate for big game at those velocities.
