Dan,

Sorry I didn't see this question sooner. I'm new to lever actions so really can't answer your question. All I know about it is that it is a reproduction of the Winchester '92 action and that the .454 Casull is a 65,000 psi cartridge. If it's physically possible, I believe the action is strong enough.
