I've been looking for another Winchester/Miroku 1895 SRC since getting my first a few years back. The first was a 100 year celebration of the .30-06, the latest is in the wonderful .30-40 Krag caliber. Quite a pair! The .30-06 was NIB and it appears the .30-40 was also. The .30-40 still had the cardboard behind the saddle ring to protect the finish as well as the black "Limited Series" sleeve for the box. She's real pretty now but it's not destined to be a safe queen, this will be a user. I have a pretty good supply of different 220 grain bullets and I plan on working up a load when time allows. The .30-06 shoots VERY well with the factory irons so this one has a reputation to live up to. Haven't shot it yet, just haven't had the time! I need to get an order for brass in as I only have two boxes of factory Remington 180 grain for now.

Very nice. I've been getting the itch for an 1895 for a while, this doesn't help! Roger ___________________________ I'm a trophy hunter - until something better comes along. *we band of 45-70ers*
