Has anybody else been shooting this "powderless" 22lr ammo? This stuff is amazingly quiet in my lever action. It is supposedly 500fps but its got to be faster than that. I have been shooting it at phone books with about 2 - 2.5 inches of penetration. If anybody is looking for a good plinking round this is it! DRSS

"The Super Colibri is intended for use in .22 handguns only. It's not recommended for use in long barreled guns as the projectile may become lodged." I've tried them and am not crazy about them. But they are VERY quiet! I think the CCI CB shorts would work better for your Henry. My personal current low-noise favorite in my Marlin 39A are the CCI Quiet .22LRs. A great thing about rimfire levers...... they'll cycle that reduced/quiet ammo a semi-won't. And that stuff is fun to shoot.... and practical for certain applications. Note: You can fit more of the .22 CB shorts into your Henry's tubular magazine than the .22 LR length CCI Quiets. The CCI Quiets are more accurate but the Henry got it's fame as "that damned Yankee rifle that they load on Sunday and shoot all week!"
