Hopefully somebody that has some experience with these 2 rifles can answer the question. I'm looking at 2 different Henry 17 HMR's, one is their Varmint Express and the other is their octagon barreled version. Which would be better for prairie dogs? The VE uses a cantilever type scope mount and the octagon barrel uses a standard 3/8" grooved receiver, I prefer the latter but have no real reason to except the cantilever looks a little cheesy. Any info? Thanks
