I am on the hunt for the rifle mentioned in the title. They had some engraving on the receiver with a gold inlayed emblem, in addition to that, they had fleur-de-lis checkering on the Woodstock. Made under Remington/Cerberus. Do any of you fellow lever gun loonies have a line on one, what is the consensus for value of new in box and as new examples? A gentleman in the classified section thinks he has one in the back of his safe, but he does not want to pull it out until he knows what to charge for it. Matt FISH!! well at least it gives you an idea on value. I did not see an old date and frankly, I don't remember those selling very well. But I gave up on new Marlins when Remington bought them and the product line shrank and the quality went down. | |||

I could not not find a 2014 Special edition anywhere, so I bought a slightly used, but very nice, 2019 336TDL Texan. The rifle is going to be gifted to my brother in law, who is about to retire. The Texan isn’t quite as nice as the 2o14 special, but it is pretty nice, and my bro-in-law is a real Texan, so it’s all good. He and one of my older sisters half raised me, so I wanted to give him something special. This will do! Matt FISH!! Indeed! However I payed over 1.5x MSRP from 2019. I saw one G-Broker for $2300 NIB. Just insane! Matt FISH!!
