Congratulations! I want one, too. About what would a person expect to pay for one like yours?

A friend took two of those, a 308 and a 358 to Africa for a plains game hunt. The PH was a bit skeptical til Phil put 3-shots in a 6" group offhand at 200 yds. He took nine head of game, one shot apiece. Zebra was the biggest, but they all look nice on his walls.

Good Score!!

Sad part is the seller called me today. He lives in a Socialist Commiewealth south of me. FFL's wanted $75.00 to ship 75 miles. I am kicking in $15.00 and he is driving to a free state and may do some shopping while he is here!

$75.00? His FFL guy is pretty proud of his signature.
Good thinking about doing a face to face transaction. Do it while it's still legal. These bastards may take away all our freedoms if given the chance.

Have one of these in 358win. W/my handloads, a 200gr will bench 1 1/4" at 100yds. Pretty good for a light, whippy-barreled lever gun.
358 is my favorite cal. for hunting the cedar swamps here in the UP. Decisively lethal and virtually instantaneous kill - ever track a wounded deer through thick cedar... a real experience, and THEN, you have to drag the deer OUT!!
If you use it to hunt in cold weather, BEWARE, degrease the firing pin channel in the bolt, and use a dry lube (Jigaloo seems promising). The tolerances on my gun are very tight. Shot at a nice buck in 0 deg. weather and only nudged the firing pin along - didn't even dent the primer.
I've retired the BLR, but still shoot a Rem 700 chambered for the 358 (loads are just as accurate in this one, even a bit better). Love hunting w/the BLR, but the original $350 or so I paid for it new has now doubled even for a used gun.
Enjoy and shoot well.

All I can say is WOW!!!
I"ll post pics tomorrow
If you are not familiar w/ how Browning marked mags to tell if they are new or used, here is a lesson. They use to put a dot of red paint on the follower. Within 2 rounds the dot is gone. This one still has the dot. She is perfect. I got a true steal. She has a Steel receiver w/ a US serial number, not Japanese. I like it allot!!

3-9x40mm Sightron w/ Warne rings. I don't care for see through rings although a set did come w/ the rifle. I opted for a stronger set.
