Whoops, my math was off (or something). The rifle has a 20" barrel, the pistol has a 7.5" barrel

How'd you guess? Are big bore rifles inherently more finicky than the smaller ones?

I haven't done anything else with the rifle. Hunting season is in and I have enough tools to work with without messing with the Puma.
