I noticed that the "Iron" Framed Henry's(repro's) don't have the retaining latch for the Lever like the Brass Framed Henry's do. Were the orignals like this, if so what was the reason for not having the Lever Latch on the Iron Frames? I asked Navy Arms and out of three people that was asked not one person knew. Although did say "That is the way we get them".
