SN # range puts it at 1896. Thats federal antique status and ups the value to many collectors. It should be a SRC but the ring may have been removed. This was common. It could even be a special order gun with no ring.

Minimum $1200 but with a excellent bore $1500 - $1800 is more like the ball park. You should invest the $55 to get a factory letter to verify the authenticty of the gun. You can get this from the Bufffalo Bill Historical Society in Cody Wyoming. Just do a search and I'm sure you can find the web site or PM me and I can give you the address and phone #. A factory letter that shows the gun to be in its origional format, barrel length, caliber etc will certainly increase its value more than the $55. If the stocks are excellent and unsanded it could go higher.

Awesome I will be buying one of the trails ends in 25-35 .Its a fun gun to shoot.I borrowed a friends 25-35 in a savage model 99 .I wish I had bought it!

A sure enough SRC will bring $1200 to as much as $1800...A 50% gun with a good bore will bring about $850 to $950...

I have a really nice Win Mod-94 Octogon rifle with a mint bore that I would take $900 for. It shoots about 1.5" at 100 yards average...A real nice clean gun..
