Any of you fellows have any experience with Pedersoli guns? I just looked at a brand new what I would refer to as a 71 chambered in 45/70. I know many of you will say it is an 86 by Pedersoli. I can tell you it is a beautiful rifle.
A few neat things; Has an inletted rear sling stud and a forend cap sling attachment just like the old 71 deluxes. I am going to see if they will sell me the forend cap for my Browning 71.. The receiver is case hardened (not sure if it is chemical or charcoal. The action is smooth as silk. Far smoother than any Browning or Winchester I have ever handled. It comes with a recoil pad.
The Deluxe version I looked at was $1,600.00 but was extremely nice from a visual perspective. Beautiful stock to boot!
Check out their website if you have not seen one of these.

EZ,

Thanks for the post. You're the first person that has actually held one in their hands.

The quality sounds very good! I think I will be saving my shekels.
