I saw your photos and really like both! The 88 is my favorite rifle of all time as it was the rifle I carried on my first deer hunt.
No deer but great memories.

I remember standing in the Town and Country dept. store lusting after a Win.88 in .308. That was in 1967, I ended up with a Win.30-30, cost $67.00. I can't remember what they wanted for the 88. I was 14 years old.
