You have a bolt peep and swivels which add value to it. Rear sight doesn't look original. Value on these guns has gone up in the last few years. $2000 to $4000 depending on overall condition.

I sold a 1936 71 two years ago in excellent condition with the original bolt peep and swivels for $3300. Mine was a low 4-digit number. Tell me about the rear sight on your rifle? I bought one at a local pawn shop last year. It's in very good condition, and has the original bolt peep sight. They had it tagged $1800, I offered $1500, and we agreed on $1600. I went there to sell a gun when I saw this one on the rack, and the outcome was inevitable.

Yes the rear sight is not original, some home made replacement. Had it modified to a be a slot filler do it blocked the peep sight. The rifle has a low digit serial number (under 200), how it ended up in Sweden is anybodys guess. Overall condition is very, very good, I would say 95%. To bad about the rear sight. Regards

I had one just like pictured with the factory installed peep on it with a 4 digit serial number. I paid 1600 for it and got 1600 when I sold it.

A nice Deluxe model like that with a bolt peep should fetch a real nice price..Minimum should be about $2850. and max would be $3450. IMO...I would price it at $3450 and hope to hell nobody bought it..Just a clean 50% overall shooter in that model will bring $1800 and up today and they go up in value every year. I have an original without bolt peep and one with bolt peep. The standard buckhorn sighted one was not drilled for a scope. I took the one that was drilled and made a custom scope mount which placed my Long Eye Relief scope directy over the barrel and forward of the breech. The forward mount uses the barrel dovetail with a hidden set screw. The side of the mount was match drilled for the old drill holes that were there. I used a set of Williams rings I had in my parts box, and I believe the overall setup is outatanding for fast and accurate shooting. The scope base design drawing is available for free for anyone that had a milling machine and the inclination to do the fabrication from a single billet of steel. The mount mottling is from oil, not terrible bluing. I don't have the expertise to even come close to the original Winchester bluing, but there are folks with that capability if the difference would be too much for some folks. Since the far side of the shown rifle is not shown, let's all hope there are no holes drilled in the receiver left side to accomodate a scope.
