Picked this up in a trade. Browning 1886 that went to Turnbull and came back as a 50-110. Got some brass and bullets and went to work with IMR3031. Just so happened the fellow I got it from had the same last intial as me. cant wait for the big bore shot.

Nice rifle. Just yesterday I got an itch for a 50-110 and emailed ISS for some pix of his. Just might have to get Doug T to make one for me.

I've been thinking lately of a .50-110. How hard were brass and bullets to come by?

Thanks, Brett

Beautiful rifle by the way!!!

I don't know about that rifle! You might need to let me break it in for maybe 10-20 yrs. Just to make sure it's safe to shoot. LOL! dancing

I have a Dave Clay rifle with a 20" barrel. A 525gr. gas check with 73gr. of benchmark and a rem. 91/2 M primer gives me 2050fps. That load will crush some big rocks. I need to shoot another bison.
