I want to shorten the barrel and magazine on my Marlin 1894 by about 2 inches and cut a dovetail for a new front sight (rather than the screwed on ramp base). This should be a fairly straight forward project, but can someone recommend a smith who routinely does this kind of work on lever action rifles? Thanks!
