I picked up a Marlin 1895 ported Guide Gun this summer for a good Price. I just can leave anything alone. When I got the rifle the only thing it has on it was a rail. Living in Anchorage makes it really easy to hit up Wild West Guns for there accessories for the Marlin. When it was all done it said this is what I have on the rifle. Wild West ghost ring sights, happy trigger kit, decelerator butt pad, rechambered to 457 WWM, Warne quick detachable scope rings, and Wild West Big loop. I'm shooting 400gr Speer hotcores at 1850fps. This thing kills on both end, but is a blast to shoot. It just waiting for a black bear this spring, and maybe moose if I can find it in my heart to leave my 338-06 at home for a season.

Very handy looking GG. Standard bluing? Or is the metal coated? Still trying to warm up to the big loops, but WW's version is more appealing to the eye for me than the factory big loop from Marlin.

Standard blueing. I like the big loop, because you can fit a gloved hand in it.
