I now have 2 savage 99s. One is a mid 50s 99f in .308. Great shooter. My new one is from the late 50s or maybe 1960. I Thinks its pretty rare. a 99 EG in .308. The EG has a 24 inch barrel and the schnauble for arm. Its in decent shape has no recoil pad , the rear sight is still there and the screws pluging the scope holes are still there. Its just rough enough that i think puting a scope on it will be ok. Might try her out tomorrow...tj3006

A 99EG in a .308 is rare indeed, they only made a few. I had one some years back..Wish Id kept it. If you ever decide to peddle it off, give me first shot at it. Ray Atkinson Atkinson Hunting Adventures 10 Ward Lane, Filer, Idaho, 83328 208-731-4120 rayatkinsonhunting@gmail.com
