I have placed an order, with XS Sights, for a “peep sight†set (and a scout mount) for a Marlin 1895G, but unfortunately they “gracefully†rejected the order by saying they“are unable to ship to portugal at this timeâ€!
I was suggested to contact their German Distributor but I would rather order from someone else as their site is all in German and its seems there is no one there that can speak English (or Portuguese for that matter!).

Apart from these XS “peep sights†what other makes would you experienced people recommend?
And how to order?

Thank you for helping on this.

Both Lyman and Williams make fine peep sights.

I don't know if cabela's ships internationally or not, but they handle the XS ghost ring sights.

B. martins, yep, cabela's will ship internationally. They have the sights listed under shooting accessories, and will accept credit card or international money orders. Just look up www.cabelas.com. It should get you there. International shipping is going to be a bit stiff. Good luck!

Nope, Midway has dealers in a few countries overseas, but they won't ship overseas.

B.martins,
Try this link :Gun accessories
You might also want to take a look at this :Wild West Guns-ghost ring
I found this when looking for accessories for Marlin Rifles, and their Ghost Ring with front fibre optic sight seems really good.

Hope it helps,

I would look on ebay for a vintage high quality Lyman or Redfield.

Natchez Shooters Supplies has the best prices on Williams sights but I do not know if they ship internationally.

Try www.midwaysweden.com - Midway in Swede certainly knows english, and they will send to Portugal if you ask.

Good luck!

b.martins,
I would recommend a Marbles tang sight on that rifle and you can get one from www.buffaloarms.com. I believe they will ship overseas.

I just bought a Marble's tang sight for my savage m99, and it is superb!

Extremely well made, adjustable for windage and elevation and includes 3 aperture discs. It really tightened up my groups and allows me to see the front sight much clearer.

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison...
