This may be somewhat appropriate to the Gunsmithing forum, but the folks who have old Winchester model 71s in 348 caliber (And guys with Model 65s) with sight parts missing might not see it there. When I bought my last Model 71, the sight that goes in the bolt was missing. I couldn't afford to buy one, since ebay prices were over $500, so I worked a deal with Gary Fellows. He loaned me a sight and I reverse engineered it, then made a complete sight for my rifle. The only thing I could not duplicate was the patent information, all else was an exact duplicate. It took me well over 100 hours to do a set of drawings and more hours to prove out the design. I now have a complete drawing package. If anyone needs help with their sight, let me know.
