Go to www.marlinowners.com and click on "Forums." Then click on "BIG BORES." You'll receive many replies to your questions from those people who are users of Marlin Guide Guns. L.W. "A 9mm bullet may expand but a .45 bullet sure ain't gonna shrink."

Paladin, you're "almost" correct. It was the Marlin factory's site, marlinfirerms.com that closed its discussion forum. Afterward, a private party, "Larry" created a website www.marlinowners.com, for all us lever dudes who could no longer post on the old Marlin forum. Lots of info there on levers... and other related topics. L.W. "A 9mm bullet may expand but a .45 bullet sure ain't gonna shrink."

Yes it was the Marlinfirearms.com forum that shut down about 14 months ago. Since then most of the members from there have migrated to Marlinowners.com and it's been a fun and informative forum. .22 LR Ruger M77/22 30-06 Ruger M77/MkII .375 H&H Ruger RSM
