I just pick up a 1894 marlin 44mag and wanted to shoot it befor i deploy next week my wife got me some car-bon 305grn ammo but the bullet looks like it has a small point in the center will this cause a problem in the tube mag. I tryed looking it up and they sell 444marlin with the same bullet.

Cor Bon loaded a pointed bullet for the 45/70 handguns. That might be what you have. I would not want to shoot that in a lever gun with out contacting Cor Bon first.
