My Marlin 1894C (.357 Mag.) somehow developed a crack in the buttstock so I returned it to Marlin, and asked them to replace it and also check the gun for accuracy because it wasn't shooting well. I expected to pay because it was past the warranty.
Three weeks later it came back with a new buttstock, a new forearm with matching grain, and a new barrel. All at no charge!
It looks like new and the accuracy is much better.
Better that it didn't need it, but you can't beat that kind of service.
