I friend of mine, Jimmy Harrision the custom hat maker, wants a double set trigger for his .45-90 M1886. I have no idea whether Browning-Winchester ever reproduced them. I have no idea where to seek an original Winchester version either. Any help finding one will be appreciated. It's so simple to be wise. Just think of something stupid to say and then don't say it. I have never seen a DOUBLE set on an 1886 but did have a set trigger on an 1886 45-90 while in gunsmith school. Still have the mainspring I had to make for it as a class assignment. I gave the rifle to a good friend after restoring it. SCI Life Member NRA Patron Life Member DRSS | |||
