I just started shooting lever action silouette. I have a Marlin 336 in 30-30 and it works quite well. I would like to shoot the pistol caliber lever action silouette also. Just looked at a Rossi and wondered what the concensus was as far as accuracy for my intended purpose. Obviously, cost is a consideration, that's why I am considering the Rossi but I have absolutely no experience with them. Thanks in advance for your input.

I have seen a few folks use them for cowboy action long range shooting contests in the pistol cartridge division. They are competitive. They usually have the internals smoothed up as the rossi's are rough out of the box. They also shoot them for main match guns too and they work fine.
