I stopped by WWG's this afternoon and let me say, I'm glad I'm closing on a house cuz I wouldaput money down on this puppy.

One bbl/reciever is set up for the 500 and another is in 454. Stainless or I'm sure any finish you want and it comes with a leupy m8 (4X i beleive) and mounts.

Beautiful engraving, price is up there at $3500 but I love my co-pilot.

I'm not endorsing WWG but it was a beautiful rifle.

A lesson in irony

The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing this year the greatest amount of free Meals and Food Stamps ever, to 46 million people.

Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us... "Please Do Not Feed the Animals." Their stated reason for the policy is because "The animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves."

Thus ends today's lesson in irony.

Joel--
Do you mean that they have one action with barrels for .50 Alaskan and .457 Alaskan or whatever they call their 45-70 mag? That might be a really interesting proposition. Could get expensive...sounds like a good idea at least!

Cheers,

Dan
