A dream rifle for me would be one made to the same kind of fit/finish/specs as a Freedom Arms revolver.

If Freedom Arms came out with a s/s M92 lever action rifle chambered in 454 Casull, 475 Linebaugh, or 500WE would anybody here be interested in it? Cool

Interested, yes Big Grin

willing to pay ~$3,000 it would likely cost, no Frowner

The way I'm thinking is if you use Ruger for an example their rifles and handguns are very comparatively priced.

I'm thinking/hoping that F/A's would be the same.

WOW, Hubby has the 454 Casull in a handgun... Does the rifle take the same round???

I think the hubby would be interested (makes a great christmas or anniversary gift).

Does it look like the Winchester?

Unfortunately this isn't a production rifle. I was just posting what my dream rifle would be to go with my 454 Casull handgun.

Maybe if enough of use got ahold of Bob Baker @ Freedom Arms it may become a reality though.

The rifle that I am looking for is a copy of a lever action, s/s, Winchester Model 1892 but chambered in the same rounds that the Freedom Arms handguns are chambered in.

My dream as far as FA is concerned is a lot easier to accomplish. I think a rifle based on their model 83 with a permanent shoulder stock would be a great fun gun. I'd love to have one and would pay a couple of grand for it.

I did buy a 20" barreled, stainless steel, LSI Puma M92 in 454 Casull in Dec 06.

I removed the junky rear fiber optic sight and installed my rear sight that I had removed from my Marlin 1895GS.

With that one change I am now fairly content with the performance of this rifle.

Now to find the time to get a scout scope mount installed and black/grey laminate stocks. Smiler
