I believe that really means no run this year.
Check with Buffalo Arms.

Nope it means neither Win or Rem will be producing brass for it ever again, or so its been said...

However Jamison is tooled up to make brass and HOrnady may begin production Im told.

Fortunately I have a large stash of .348 Win brass and loaded ammo..and considering my never ending search for the ultimate rifle, my whore like disposition to trade, sell or satisfy my lingering need to move on to bigger and better things or should I find a horse or dog that catches my eye, my rifle and brass and ammo will surely suface and come up for sale in the future, if Im running true to form.

Similar to holding handful of aces in card game, "price of poker just went up..." I have considerable supply of brass and ammo, but if needed drop me a PM and will move some of it at reasonable price. America, land of opportunity.

It is a shame-
we are seeing a rapid decline in calibers by RemChester--

CapTech (Jamison) Hornady , and PriVi have fortunately picked up some of the slack-

Seems like many of the younger crowd have little interest in loading the "non-standard" rounds--

Didn't Winchester and Remington make some announcement a while back that they getting out of supplying UPB and focus on selling loaded ammo.

In any event Starline already makes 50/110 brass and if there is sufficient demand I am sure they will be able to fill the void.

I picked up a bag of 100 250 Savage Jamison brass and just with an initial look over it looks like good stuff. Didn't see anything suspicious with it anyway.

I ordered some brass from Midway as flwgs: 30-30 PPU, Hornady in 25-35 and 250-3000, Midway has a long list of old stuff that has not been available for some time. Also they carry a full line of Starline..I orders some 38-40s and the brass is thicker and better than the WW or Rem stuff that was tissue thin. They are also handling some of this same stuff..The drought is over it appears.

35 Rem
22 HOrnet
38-55
348 Win.

and the prices are great.

Cal,
You should be able to ship loaded ammo, all you have to do is stick a sticker on it that states ORD-SM in bold print. I made up some for myself or you can purchase them...small arms stickers...That's law as far as I know..I had the same problem locally, and challenged them on it and now they ship..It works at UPS and maybe the USPS..

The problem at UPS is about half the employees make up rules that do not exist and you have to go to the top they straighten them out. Same with the airlines. homer
