I have the oppurtunity to buy a ruger 96/44
its about 90% condition couple scratches on the stock and normal wear on the medal.

it has a redfield scope on it and sling,

guy is asking 750 talked him down to 600,...I still feel this is high,...what is your thoughts,...I can get a new marlin for a little more than that locally?

a few years ago I bought a 96/44 from local pawn shop for $275 it did have a chip in the toe of it's stock otherwise in great condition
