The bolt crowd has it very easy. They can choose from dozens of actions, or buy donor rifles for an infinite variety of custom rifles.

But what about the lever action guys? Is there such a thing as a naked lever action? Something you can barrel and stock as you wish? This comes back to a question I had earlier on taking a BLR (or '81) to 358Norma. That combination turns me on and just won't let me go.

If there isn't such an action source, what would be the best candidate for customizing?
