I have a Sako Quad in HMR and delighted with it. In the hands of other shooters, it shoots, when still ( not windy) .5 MOA. However, on occasions, I need to fire a number of shots at , for example, a number of rabbits who have scattered- fast- after the first has been hit. The fact bolt action boys may be able to rechamber and fire asap, but so far , my speed is well behind that of the small game I'm aiming at. It would seems common ground that levers do not enjoy a top reputation for accuracy, although I am quite happy with my Marlin 336 SS 30/30. In Australia, we still do not have the Hornady ammo yet. Can anyone assist with comments on the Henry. There are, it seems, very few leverss chambered in .17HMR. Thanks. | ||
