Well here are a few targets for ya.

the squares are one inch by one inch

357 Magnum
11gr of W296
205gr Tycer flat point, plain base bullet
the first shot was with some gunk in the barrel from a previous load, so it went wildly high.

Here is another target, this is with 11.5gr of W296 at 100 yds.

and this last one is with 162gr bullet and 9 gr of bluedot for a velocity of 1250 fps average.
also at 100 yds.

Here is a pic of some bullets.

Left to right

RCBS 200-GC
205gr Tycer
162gr RF

I do believe any of these will kill a deer quite easily.

Nice shooting. I've wondered about that Black Moly Lube. How does your barrel look after using it?

Nice shooting! That 205g Tycer is a nice looking bullet. Is the mold available?

It is a custom mold a friend of mine had made. He cast me up a bunch as part of a trade deal.

I'm getting a custom 180 gr 35 cal bullet mold here shortly.

Got a big meplat on it.

IF your interested in the 180gr bullet let me know as I am ordering a bunch for a group buy. You can get in on it if you want.

That's great shooting. What power is your scope? I had a Marlin 1894 in .357 Mag. I should have spent more time testing loads for it, but got frustrated after being unable to acheive better than 1.5-2 inch groups at 50 yards. That's not accurate enough to be interesting to me. I don't hunt much - just shoot targets. I loved that rifle; just wish it would have shot tighter groups. Might have to buy another one...
