I have a savage 99 in 308. It's well used but worth it to me to redo. What all can I do to restore this treasure??? What kind of cost should I expect??? I will be out sourcing this as I'm no gunsmith.

Depends on what you want to spend. If you want it better than new and cost is not much of a concern, send it to Turnbull Restoration and have them do it.
