I was in my local Gander Mountain today looking arround. I consider this a safe place to shop as I have never found a deal on a firearm there. Well as luck would have it there was a BrowningBLR 81 in 223 on the end of the shelf for less than $350.00. I am a sucker for anything that Browning makes. It has iron sights on it, the metal is like new and the wood is at least 98%!!
I had to put it on lay away as my wife was in the store next door and there is NO way she would give me permission. I will have to go back in a week or two and pay for it and bring it home. I have never believed in lay away until today

That is certainly a good buy and you can sell it for a decent profit tomorrow....

Last BLR81 I saw in .223 was over $400.00 from an individual at a gun show in Austin Texas. Didn't have $400.00 or so $'s or I would have bought it on the spot.
