I just ordered a few hundred of the 405gr BearTooth bullets for my 458cal rifles. Ruger #1, Marlin GG, in 45/70 and a BLR in 450Marlin.

Anyone have experience w. these? Hunting? target?

I had the good fortune of talking w/ the owner, Marshall Stanton, when I ordered for my 44 mag and 416 Taylor. He's easy to talk with and a wealth of information. The bullets I received are top notch and shoot very well.
If you have any questions a/b loading and shooting cast, he can probably answer them.

I shoot them in my Marlin 45/70 Guide gun and enjoy them very much. They are fairly accurate in my rifle with 28grs of I4198. 2" groups...
